Automatic Cinema
A video document︎︎︎ of the Automatic Cinema workshop hosted by the Centre for Digital Storymaking at London South Bank University (June, 2018). Jørgen Leth's film, The Perfect Human (1968)—an examination of human behaviour in a pseudo-scientific way with actors labelled as 'perfect humans' —was a point of departure for the workshop, working towards a proof of concept to link performance, robotics and machine learning as part of an automated filmmaking proposition. The Research & Development was supported by Arts Council England.
